There are many things
to see and do nearby including horse-riding, canoeing,
surfing, and swimming. The main sandy beach of Looe is just
over three miles away. If gardens are your interest then
youre in the right County. Cornwall has many stunning and
award-winning gardens for you to visit and admire throughout
the year.
Looe Golf Club (Bindown Golf Club) is just around the corner and the Eden
Project is about an hour's drive away. Why not fish from the
end of Banjo Pier and cook your catch! Let the train take
the strain, leave the car and hop on the local Looe line
where you can get to see the real Cornish countryside. Once
in Looe you can book boat trips, fishing trips, or just
relax on one of the many nearby sandy beaches. Or, why not
take a boat trip round to Polperro on the Smugglers cruise
and then walk back on the South West Coastal path. If you
want the shopping experience then look no further than
Plymouth City Centre just 20 miles away with the Drakes
Circus shopping centre recently opened you can be sure of a
21st Century shopping experience. While in Plymouth you
could visit the National Marine Aquarium which boasts the
largest fish tank in Europe and take in a show at the
Theatre Royal. All this, plus many other attractions means
you are spoilt for choice during your visit.
